Cookie Policy
Last updated: August 2, 2026
This policy explains how ProfitLoopHQ uses cookies and similar technologies such as local storage, and how you control them.
1. What these technologies are
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Local storage works similarly but is read only by our own site. We use both. Some are essential; the rest are set only after you consent.
2. Categories we use
- Strictly necessary — authentication and session tokens (Supabase), your cookie-consent record, and security/rate-limit protections for the scan API. These cannot be switched off because the site will not work without them.
- Payment and fraud prevention — set by Stripe during checkout to process payments and detect fraud. These are necessary when you use checkout.
- Analytics — optional. Aggregate measurement of how pages and features are used, so we can improve them. Set only with your consent.
- Marketing — optional. Measuring campaign performance and showing relevant offers. Set only with your consent.
3. Your choices
When you first visit we show a banner letting you accept all, reject everything non-essential, or choose per category. Your choice is stored for one year and applies until you change it.
You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break sign-in and checkout.
4. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of under CCPA/CPRA. We honor browser signals such as Global Privacy Control by treating them as a rejection of non-essential cookies.
5. Third-party cookies
Cookies may be set by Stripe (payments), Supabase (authentication), and Google (only if you choose Google sign-in). Those providers process data under their own privacy notices.
